Our Apothecary

A great many folks who visit us tell us that there’s no one exactly like us anywhere…

And we’re okay with that.

Starting our little apothecary/greenhouse 11 years ago feels like months sometimes, and now we truly have an old-fashioned apothecary here, but with a distinctly magical twist.

We have over 100 herbs available, both medicinal and magical. We make sure they’re responsibly harvested, and wild crafted whenever possible. In addition, we have several herbal tea blends, some for the body, some for the mind and some for the spirit. We create a wide variety of products using herbs, essential oils and carrier oils from all over the planet. We hand make our elixirs, tinctures, skin care products, pain remedies, pet products and bath products, and they’re all thoroughly tested on ourselves, our human and our animal family before they make it our shelves.

We’re also able to blend and make up custom products as well. Just let us know what you need and we will try to provide it for you.

We’re also a well-stocked and knowledgeable resource for magical & metaphysical items; altar supplies, devotional jewelry and perfumes, statues, incenses and even fully assembled & complete magical apothecary kits. We embrace many different paths here, ancient cultures from Mesopotamia, Greece, Norse (Viking), Celtic, and Egyptian. We are also familiar with Native American/First Nations and Asian culture and medicine, the Yoruba pantheon, and even North American Magic styles such as Appalachian conjure and Southern Hoodoo.

We will do our very best to help you with whatever herbal, plant-related or magical needs that you may have.

Our Greenhouse

 We have a greenhouse attached to our shop where we grow non-gmo heirloom vegetable plants during the spring and summer using organic practices. We also grow culinary and medicinal herb plants that are hard to find. We have berry bushes available as well in well in early Spring. We do a little bit of it all, but of course just a little bit differently than most. Our entire operation is done strictly by hand, no machines, no spraying weird growth regulators or artificial chemicals on our plants. We only use worm castings, natural fish-based fertilizer, and rich compost to grow our plants.
